Each layer belongs to a generation since 19th century. In first layer I have set a portrait of a Qajari princes from late 19th century. The second layer contains the portrait of my grand mother in early 20th century. In the third layer I used my mother's portrait in 1970s. And in the top layer I used my self portrait. It seems to me we have all been trapped in a loop. Once again I personalized the concept and designed a memento memorial for a dead pet. A few years ago I bought a salamander from a pet shop in Tehran. Later I did a research and realised that this salamander was recognized as an endangered species and my pet was probably poached and illegally sold. Unfortunately I was never able to take it back to its inhabitant and set it free.
